2016 was an amazing year for Magic: the Gathering.
Zulu's BG Cafe was born and these were the major set releases by month:

For the month of April (and a little beyond) we'll celebrate with the throwback sets and formats that helped define 2016. We'll also highlight the many types of Magic that our players choose to join. Check our EVENT CALENDAR for all the play opportunities. Just a select few are listed here.
Players of all skill levels are welcome to play, although some are more casual and some are more competitive. Many of these events require NO advance ticket. Just show up and join the fun (costs vary).
Every Tuesday we have tables for both Cube draft and Legacy. See discord for details.
Every Wednesday is a draft from sets across the history of Magic. Details here.
Every Thursday is commander free play. This is our most popular weekly event.
Every Friday is either FNM (Friday Night Magic) draft or a MTG sealed prerelease.
Every 2nd & 4th Saturday we have a Standard Showdown, with an emphasis on casual and creative play.

There are two win-a-dual Eternal events, too:
09 May - Legacy (max 5 rounds, then top 8 playoff. Proxy friendly)
02 June - Vintage (4 rounds cap no playoffs, proxy friendly)
Prerelease events generally sell out in advance, so buy your tickets here or visit the store to get yourself on the waitlist.
