This competition will begin on March 27th and will culminate with an event at the Event Center on April 27th. During the event we will display the competition pieces, hang-out and discuss painting with fellow hobbyists. The competition will have an entry fee of $25, with $5 credit off of your competition model if you purchase it at the Event Center.

Prizing for this competition will come in the form of Games Workshop models. After the winners are determined, the selected prize models will be ordered for the winners.
1st place - Games Workshop Model valued at $185 MSRP or less
2nd place - Games Workshop Model valued at $90 MSRP or less
3rd place - Games Workshop Model valued at $50 MSRP or less
Honors - If the judges determine an entrant has fulfilled the three areas of improvement they submitted, the judges will grant them Honors, giving $10 off the entrant’s next model purchase at the Event Center.

Entered model must be at maximum built and primed before the first day of the competition. Entrants will be required to supply a picture of their model in this state on the first day of competition. Entrants will also be asked to submit three areas of improvement that they would like to focus on during the competition. These areas of improvement will be submitted alongside the photo of the unpainted model. Entered models must be brought to the Event Center on April 27th for judging. We will allow models to be dropped off as early as April 25th. Models will be stored in a locked display case until the 27th.

The spirit of this competition is one of growth and improvement. This will be the first painting competition Zulu’s is running so we want to focus on self-improvement through peer critique. When every entrant submits their photo of their unpainted model, they will be asked to submit three areas of painting they wish to improve on e.g. gems, cloth, edge highlights, plasma glow et cetera. There will be a discord channel made so that entrants can submit photos of their work in progress models for critique, or ask advice to fellow painters.

Good luck choosing your models! Visit the #minis-general channel on our discord for more information.
